Dr. Kieran Hicks is a Senior Lecturer at Staffordshire University specializing in game design, player experience, and accessibility. With nearly a decade of academic and industry experience, he serves as Course Director for Digital, Tech, Innovation & Business programs. Hicks co-founded a game studio and has collaborated with Nottingham City Council on civic play projects.
His educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from University of Lincoln focusing on juiciness in player experience, an MSc by Research on online cooperation, and a First Class BSc in Games Computing.
