Khaled Mattawa is the William Wilhartz Endowed Professor of English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan. He directs the Arab and Muslim American Studies Program and serves as editor of the Michigan Quarterly Review. His academic career spans poetry, translation, and cultural studies.
