Dr. Kexuan Xin is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Informatics, Australian Institute of Health Innovation, Macquarie University. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Queensland (2023), Master's in Computer Science from the University of Queensland (2018), and Bachelor's in Information Engineering from South China University of Technology (2016). Her research focuses on knowledge graphs, natural language processing, and large language models with applications in bioinformatics and health informatics. She conducted postdoctoral research at UIUC collaborating with the biology department, applying NLP techniques to biological domain challenges.
