Kevin Stange is a Professor of Public Policy and Education (by courtesy) at the University of Michigan's Ford School of Public Policy, where he serves as co-director of the Education Policy Initiative and director of the PhD Program. He is also a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and a faculty affiliate of the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education at the Marsal Family School of Education.

Stange has secured major funding from the U.S. Department of Education, National Science Foundation, Spencer Foundation, W.T.
