معرفی
Kevin Reffett is a Professor of Economics at the W. P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. His expertise lies in dynamic economic models, monotone methods, and stochastic games. He holds a Ph.D. from Purdue University (1990), an M.A. from the University of Iowa (1985), and a B.B.A. from the same university (1983). His research focuses on equilibrium characterization in dynamic environments, including recursive equilibrium, Markovian equilibria, and models with strategic complementarities.
Research Interests: Equilibrium in dynamic behavioral choice, monotone methods, dynamic comparative dynamics, lattice programming, stochastic games, large games, and envelope theorems. Current work explores time-consistent plans in economies with behavioral discounting, dynamically inconsistent preferences, and methods for characterizing recursive equilibrium in macroeconomic models.
Teaching: Courses include Mathematical Economics (ECN 470), Intermediate Microeconomic Theory (ECN 312), and graduate workshops. He has taught these courses consistently from 2021 to 2025.
Editorial Roles: Associate/Editor for Journal of Public Economic Theory, Dynamic Games and Applications, and Journal of Dynamics and Games. His research has been published in leading journals such as Economic Theory, Journal of Economic Theory, and Games and Economic Behavior.
Labs/Teams: Active in the ASU economics department’s research initiatives, focusing on dynamic economic modeling and behavioral economics.
