Kevin Pfleger

Professor Kevin Pfleger is a leading academic in Molecular Endocrinology and Pharmacology at the Perkins and holds key roles at The University of Western Australia as Director of Biomedical Innovation and Chief Scientific Advisor at Dimerix Limited. He is also Deputy Director of the ARC Centre for Personalised Therapeutics Technologies and actively contributes to scientific leadership as Chair of Accelerating Australia and President of ASCEPT.

His research focuses on molecular mechanisms of GPCR interactions, including angiotensin and chemokine receptor complexes, with applications in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer. He has pioneered the patented Receptor-HIT technology for studying heteromers and developed advanced BRET methods for real-time receptor analysis.

Professor Pfleger's work spans academia and industry, with significant awards such as the Australian Museum Eureka Prize, NHMRC Research Excellence Award, and ASCEPT Award. He has led research on orexin receptor dynamics, transactivation pathways, and disease-associated receptor mutations.
