Kevin O'Sullivan is an Associate Professor at Texas A&M University, specializing in early modern book history, digital humanities, and material culture studies. His research focuses on sixteenth-century poetry (particularly Edmund Spenser), Tudor-Stuart Ireland, and digital approaches to book history. He holds a PhD from Texas A&M University (2023), an MS from the University of Texas at Austin (2009), and a BA from the University of Notre Dame (2006).
His work bridges traditional bibliography with modern technologies, emphasizing maker culture, 3D printing, and inclusive outreach strategies. Notable contributions include co-authoring articles on bibliographical pedagogy and primary source literacy. He has received the Texas Digital Library Excellence Award (2019) and a Glasscock Faculty Research Fellowship (2023-24).
Research interests include transnational literatures, race and ethnicity studies, and library science. His articles often explore how digital tools can democratize access to historical texts while preserving materiality.
