Dr. Maura Ives is an Associate Professor of English and Director of the Center of Digital Humanities Research at Texas A&M University. Her research focuses on 19th-century British literature, digital humanities, and the history of the book, with a specialization in Victorian women writers like Christina Rossetti and Jean Ingelow. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia (1990) and has authored seminal works such as Christina Rossetti: A Descriptive Bibliography (2011).
Her research interests include textual studies, women’s religious writing, and the intersection of print and digital media. Notable achievements include the Fredson Bowers Award (2012) and fellowships from the Bibliographical Society of America and Princeton University Library.
