Kevin Neves

Dr. Kevin Neves is a faculty member at Bowling Green State University's College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biological Sciences. His research focuses on sustainable aquaculture systems and aquatic environmental health.

Research Interests:

• Development of integrated multi-trophic aquaponics systems for sustainable food production and environmental impact reduction
• Investigation of dissolved carbon dioxide effects on otolith development and welfare in aquacultured fish

Research Highlights: His lab pioneered systems combining fish farming with agricultural water reclamation and has identified CO₂ as a causative agent in fish cataract formation.
