Kevin Neuman

Kevin Neuman is a Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, serving as Assistant Dean of the College of Professional Studies and Head of the Sentry School of Business and Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Notre Dame (2004), an M.A. from the same institution (2003), and a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (1999).

His research focuses on Labor Economics, Economics of Aging, and Applied Microeconomics. Notable areas include analyzing retirement satisfaction, union impacts, and pension systems. Recent work explores cross-country labor market comparisons and retirement health outcomes.

Publications span topics like monopsony power in academic labor markets, job satisfaction in the U.S. and China, and retirement leisure’s relationship with mortality. He emphasizes applied learning and community engagement through the Sentry School.
