Kevin Maloney is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology in the Department of Population Health Sciences at Georgia State University’s School of Public Health. His research focuses on HIV/STI prevention, infectious disease modeling, and network science, with a particular emphasis on PrEP utilization among men who have sex with men (MSM). He completed a Ph.D. in Epidemiology at Emory University (2021) and an MPH at Boston University (2015). Prior to his current role, he worked at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the Fenway Institute in Boston, researching PrEP prescribing practices and STI epidemiology.
