Kevin Lu, Ph.D., is currently affiliated with the University of Essex as Director of Graduate Studies and Director of the MA Jungian and Post-Jungian Studies within the Department of Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies. He also serves as a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Pacifica Graduate Institute.
His research interests span Jungian psychology, its intersection with history, cultural complexes, diaspora studies, and the application of analytical psychology to graphic novels and film adaptations. Lu's work notably explores Arnold J. Toynbee's engagement with analytical psychology and sibling dynamics within the Chinese/Vietnamese diaspora.
Lu has held leadership roles, including prior service on the Executive Committee of the International Association for Jungian Studies.
