Dr. Kevin Li is an Associate Professor at Adelaide Business School within the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics at The University of Adelaide. Previously affiliated with UNSW Sydney from 2015, his expertise spans financial accounting, data analytics, and empirical research in capital markets. He holds memberships with CICPA and ACCA.
Dr. Li earned his PhD in Accounting from The University of Melbourne (2015). His research focuses on capital market regulation, stock price dynamics around earnings announcements, credit default swaps, and dividend policies. He currently serves as Deputy Editor for Accounting and Finance and on editorial boards for Journal of Accounting and Public Policy and other journals.
His supervision includes projects like Dividend Signalling in Cross-Country Contexts and Information Disclosure Strategies. He has contributed to teaching innovations during the pandemic, adapting financial accounting curricula to online platforms. His work bridges theoretical accounting frameworks with practical market impacts, emphasizing regulatory and policy analysis.
