Dr. Kevin Jones is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Alberta, serving as Director of Student Experience and Learning. He holds a PhD, MA, and BSocSc in interdisciplinary social sciences. His research focuses on governance innovation, public engagement, and transformative adaptation to social and environmental challenges, particularly in urban sustainability, food security, and community development. Jones co-chairs the Environmental Studies program and has supervised graduate students in areas like participatory governance and urban agriculture.
