Kevin J. Anderson

Kevin J. Anderson is a Professor and Director of the Publishing Concentration in the Graduate Program in Creative Writing at Western Colorado University’s School of Graduate Studies. With over 24 million books in print across 34 languages, he is renowned for his work in science fiction and fantasy, including co-authoring 20 books in the Dune saga with Brian Herbert and 50 novels for Lucasfilm’s Star Wars universe. Anderson also serves as publisher of WordFire Press and co-founded the Superstars Writing Seminar.

He combines academic leadership with public engagement as a sought-after speaker.

Anderson resides in Colorado with his wife, author Rebecca Moesta, and is an avid mountaineer, having summited all 14,000+ foot peaks in the state and hiked the 500-mile Colorado Trail.
