Kevin Grieves is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Whitworth University since 2015. His expertise spans video/audio journalism production, international journalism, and broadcast journalism history across U.S. and European contexts.

Research focuses on transborder journalism collaborations, global media systems, and the intersection of media with geopolitical boundaries. His work examines cross-border journalistic practices in regions like the U.S.-Canadian border, the European Saar-Lor-Lux area, and Cold War-era broadcasting.
Notable publications include Journalism Across Boundaries (2012) and co-authored studies on digital media landscapes in Germany, the U.K., and the U.S. His presentations address topics like East German press coverage of U.S. space failures and Cold War-era U.S. government-journalism relations.
