Kevin Corrigan is the Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor at Emory University's Department of Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies. His academic focus spans Classics, Philosophy, Religion, History, and Literature, with specialization in ancient thought, Neoplatonism, and early Christian philosophy. He holds a Ph.D., M.A., and B.A. in Classics/Philosophy from Dalhousie University and Lancaster University.
Research interests include Plato, Plotinus, Patristic texts, and the interplay between reason, faith, and ancient ethical concepts. His extensive publications (over 10 books since 2004) explore topics like Platonic dialogues, Neoplatonic theology, and the reception of ancient ideas in later traditions. Notable works include A Less Familiar Plato (2023) and Reason, Faith and Otherness (2013).
