Kevin Brack is a Lecturer in Educational Leadership and Programme Director of the MEd Leadership and Learning at the University of Edinburgh's Moray House School of Education and Sport. He previously served as a primary school Head Teacher and held roles such as Attainment Advisor for Dundee (2018) and member of the First Minister's Reading Challenge Advisory Group (2016). His research focuses on headship professional learning, leadership in Scottish schools, and the impact of masters-level education on school leadership. He has presented work on school improvement at international conferences and explored pandemic effects on educational leadership.
**Research Interests:** Leadership development, teacher professional learning, school improvement strategies, and the implications of crises like the 2020 pandemic on educational leadership. His current studies include how advanced academic programs influence school leaders' practices.
**Awards:** Shortlisted for the 2017 Outstanding Leadership Award. His contributions to educational policy and leadership have been recognized through advisory roles and academic engagements.
**Teaching & Leadership:** Course Organizer for PG Cert programs 'Into Headship' and 'Growing Professional Learning.' Not currently open to PhD supervision. Affiliated with the Institute for Education, Teaching & Leadership (IETL), where he contributes to interdisciplinary educational research initiatives.
