Kerry Jones

Kerry Jones, Ed.D., is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at the University of Bridgeport, affiliated with the College of Engineering, Business & Education and the School of Education. Her work focuses on building educator capacity through collaborative leadership, equity in education, and high-quality teaching practices.

Dr. Jones's research emphasizes equity in PreK-12 education, curriculum design, and professional learning initiatives. She has extensive experience in central office leadership, elementary education, and grant administration, including founding a middle school reading program and a K-12 Dyslexia Workgroup.

She actively contributes to educational communities as a member of the Learning Forward Annual Conference Host Committee (Boston 2025) and serves as a mentor in the West Hartford Mentor Program, supporting elementary students.
