Kerrie Weppner serves as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Geosciences at Boise State University, specializing in hydrologic sciences and geology research. Her academic foundation includes an M.S. from Boise State University and a B.S. in Geology from the University of Idaho.
Her research focuses on Holocene fire history and past climate change, modern fire dynamics, contemporary climate change impacts, and associated geomorphic hazards. Teaching responsibilities encompass Environmental Global Geosystems, Geomorphology, Earth's Climate, and Sedimentation and Stratigraphy, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to Earth system science.
