Kerrie Anne Ambort-Clark

Kerrie Anne Ambort-Clark holds dual roles as Assistant Dean of Health-Related Business Programs and Teaching Professor at the Soules College of Business, University of Texas at Tyler. She also serves as Director of the Healthcare Leadership Distinction (HLD) program and Professor of Practice in the School of Medicine, contributing to the Public Health System Science (PHSS) curriculum. Her expertise focuses on strategic leadership, bridging clinical and business aspects of healthcare.

Awards & Recognition: Awardee of the 2024 UTSADT Fellowship, 2024 White Fellowship, and 2018 ROTA. Recognized as Tyler’s 2022 'Mentor of the Year' and 2022-2023 Rotary 'Teacher of the Year.'

Leadership & Service: Board member of East Texas ACHE, National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) Council member, and Global Advisory Committee member. Served as President of UT Tyler’s Academy of Distinguished Teachers (2022–2024). Active in mentoring via the AMP Program and advising student organizations.
