Dr. Kerri Jones is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Peninsula Medical School, part of the Faculty of Health at the University of Plymouth. She previously served as a Consultant in Anaesthesia & Critical Care at Torbay Hospital (1990–2016), leading innovations in day surgery, pre-operative assessment, and enhanced recovery pathways. Her national roles included advancing healthcare policies such as 18-week waits and patient participation initiatives.
Her global health focus includes co-founding Future Health Africa, a charity delivering trauma care, leadership training (e.g., GRASPIT and SPRINGBOARD courses), and maternity training in Kenya. She co-chairs the Global Health Collaborative and contributes to Masters programs in Healthcare Management and Global Health.
