Keri Ewart, PhD, is a Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where she contributes to the Master of Educational Technology (MET) program. With a rich background in K-12 education, curriculum development, and digital technology integration, she brings a unique blend of practical experience and research expertise to her role at UBC.
Her research and teaching focus on 21st-century skills, digital fluency, and the meaningful integration of technology into education. She employs mixed methods to explore how active learning theories, multiliteracy, and multimodal pedagogies can foster inclusive and transformative e-learning environments.
Keri is deeply committed to differentiation and inclusivity, emphasizing the triangulation between researcher, practitioner, and learner. She advocates for dynamic, community-driven e-learning spaces that acknowledge social, cultural, and ethical dimensions of digital education.
