Kent Games is a Professor and Director of Clinical Education for the Doctor of Athletic Training program at Indiana State University’s College of Health and Human Services. He also serves as Interim Dean of the College of Graduate and Professional Studies. His expertise spans athletic training, exercise science, applied medicine, and rehabilitation, with a focus on improving healthcare provider practices and patient-centered care.
Games emphasizes evidence-based research and clinical training, guiding students through immersive projects like studying firefighter protective gear’s impact on balance and addressing food insecurity. He oversees advanced laboratories such as the NICER Lab and Tactical Athlete Research Center, fostering collaborative, hands-on learning environments.
Indiana State’s program, under Games’ leadership, offers accelerated pathways for students to earn a BS, MS, and D.A.T., positioning graduates as advanced practitioners.
