Dr. Kenny Tee is a Senior Lecturer in Business at James Cook University Singapore (JCUS), specializing in fintech, cryptocurrency, corporate finance, and corporate innovation. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of North Texas and has prior experience as an Assistant Professor at Zayed University (2014–2022) and industry roles as a fund manager and analyst in Malaysia and the USA. His research focuses on corporate governance, financial markets, and innovation, with publications in top-tier journals like Technological Forecasting and Social Change. Dr. Tee teaches modules such as Corporate Finance, International Finance, and Economics of Social Policy.
Research interests include fintech applications, cryptocurrency dynamics, and executive compensation strategies. He has received awards including the ADEK Research Excellence Award (2018) and the Policy Research Incentive Plan (2016). Dr. Tee also serves as a PhD external examiner at Lyallpur Business School and contributes to the Capital Markets Review (CMR). His outreach includes the JCUS CEO Lounge and CFA Exam Consultancy initiatives.
