Kenneth Scheve is the Dean Acheson Professor of Political Science and Global Affairs at Yale University, serving as Dean of Social Science in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS). He holds dual affiliations with the Department of Political Science and the Jackson School of Global Affairs. Scheve’s research focuses on the governance of modern capitalism, including inequality and redistribution, globalization’s political consequences, long-term economic change, and climate politics. His work combines quantitative methods with historical and comparative analysis.
Education: B.A. in Economics (University of Notre Dame, Highest Honors), Ph.D. in Political Science (Harvard University).
