Kenneth S. McAllister is a Professor of Public & Applied Humanities at the University of Arizona's College of Humanities. He serves as Co-Director of the Learning Games Initiative Research Archive and Associate Dean of Research and Program Innovation. His scholarly work bridges rhetoric, digital humanities, and game studies.

His research focuses on the history of Western rhetorics, computational rhetorics, archival studies, and maker culture. McAllister co-founded the UA CATalyst Studio (iSpace) - a transdisciplinary maker lab for immersive technologies. He has received grants including funding from the Center for Educational Resources in Culture, Language, and Literacy for "Fluency in Play" research.
