Kenneth McLaughlin

Kenneth McLaughlin is a Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, specializing in Pedagogy, Praxis & Faith. He serves as the course leader for the PGDE(S) - Computing programme and teaches on the MEd Primary programme (Education in Practice modules 1-4). His roles include TELT Officer, Senior Adviser of Studies, and Admissions & Recruitment Officer for PGDE(Primary & Secondary) programs.

Research Interests: Curriculum development in Computing education, ICT integration in Primary Schools, Social Media in Education, and Recruitment strategies for Teacher Education programs. He has supervised Masters students since 2014 focusing on ICT, Mathematics, and Science education topics.

External Roles: External Examiner for PGCE(S) Computer Science programs at multiple UK universities (Birmingham Newman, Liverpool Hope, Manchester Metropolitan, Brunel, Leeds Metropolitan). Former SQA Marker and Setter for Information Systems (2000–2013).
