Kenneth B. Roberts

Kenneth B. Roberts, MD, is a Professor of Therapeutic Radiology at Yale School of Medicine and a practicing academic physician specializing in pediatric cancers, lymphomas, leukemias, sarcomas, and colo-anal cancers. He serves as Chief of the Cardiac Brachytherapy, Lymphoma/Sarcoma Radiotherapy, and Pediatrics Radiotherapy Programs at Yale and is Associate Chief of Radiation Oncology at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Research Interests center on brachytherapy, combined modality therapy, and the long-term effects of radiation therapy (e.g., secondary malignancies). He investigates dose optimization in Hodgkin’s disease, radiation economics, and late toxicity in pediatric patients.

Recent Publications focus on pediatric Hodgkin lymphoma, prognostic scoring in lymphomas, brachytherapy applications, and late cardiac toxicity in survivors. His work also addresses economic drivers in radiotherapy adoption and subsequent cancer risks.
