Kendall Harris

Kendall Harris is an Interim Dean at the Fowler School of Engineering, Chapman University, with over 25 years of experience in higher education administration and faculty roles. He holds faculty appointments alongside his leadership duties and has contributed extensively to academic growth, student success, and workforce-aligned program development.

Dr. Harris's research focuses on heat transfer, electronic package cooling, and energy conservation, attracting over $20 million in external funding. His work bridges mechanical engineering and thermal management systems.

As a community advocate, he promotes STEM education for youth, emphasizing education's role in social equity. He is actively engaged with organizations like the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and Women of Color in STEM.
