Ken Okamura is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. His research focuses on financial crises' impacts on banks and borrowers, including reputation loss mechanisms, and the effects of corruption on international trade and governance. He holds an LLB from the University of Exeter and a DPhil in Management Studies from Oxford, with a focus on Japan's 1997–2003 financial crisis. Previously, he worked as a fund manager and Japanese equity strategist at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.
