Ken Newman is a principal researcher in statistical methodology at Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland (BIOSS) and holds a teaching role within the School of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. He specializes in applying statistical models to ecological and environmental decision-making processes. His career spans academia and government, including former roles at the US Fisheries and Wildlife Service.
