Ken Jacobsen is a Professor of Law at Temple University Beasley School of Law, specializing in Civil Litigation, Sports Law, and Trial Advocacy. He teaches courses such as Advanced Civil Procedure II and Sports Law. Jacobsen holds a J.D. cum laude from Villanova University School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Villanova Law Review. With over 30 years in private practice, he focused on complex business litigation, including class actions. He has served as a Visiting Professor at Taiwan University College of Law and co-chaired the ALI Program on Class Actions. His research interests include civil procedure, sports law, and e-commerce liability. Jacobsen also owns the Wilmington Blue Rocks Professional Baseball Club and advises professional athletes through his law office and Sports Concepts, Inc. His recent articles address e-commerce liability, sports jurisdiction, and gender-based pricing discrimination.
