Kelly Murphy

Kelly Murphy is an Adjunct Professor at the College of Architecture, Illinois Institute of Technology, where she teaches representation in the MLA program. She is also a professional designer at Hoerr Schaudt Landscape Architects, blending academic and practical expertise to advance landscape architecture as a tool for environmental and social transformation.

Murphy's research focuses on the intersection of graphic and narrative communication in landscape design, emphasizing material nuances and collaborative processes. Her work bridges design-build practices with theoretical exploration to address ecological and societal challenges.
