Kelly Hamon

Kelly Hamon is a Professor of Digital Communication at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) since 2024. She holds an M.A. and B.A. in interdisciplinary studies and communication from American University. Her professional career spans over two decades in graphic design and art direction across film, television, and advertising.

Key roles include Senior Art Director at Admarketing (2007–2017) and senior/ junior design positions at Flux Branding and Publicis Dialog. As a freelance designer, she contributed to Tulane University’s Murphy Institute and Tropical Medicine Department. Notable projects include graphic art for films like Marcel the Shell With Shoes On, TV shows like The Big Show Show (Netflix), and commercials for major brands like Target, Apple, and Disney.

Active in professional organizations such as the Art Directors Guild (IATSE 800) and Swift Savannah Women in Film and TV, she bridges academic teaching with industry expertise in visual storytelling and digital media.
