Kelly DelGaizo

Kelly DelGaizo is a Professor at St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences on the Queens campus of St. John’s University. She specializes in Communication Studies, focusing on research areas such as Interpersonal Communication, Instructional Communication, Health Communication, and Sports Communication. She teaches courses including Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Intercultural Communication, Persuasion, and Discover New York, among others.

Dr. DelGaizo holds an Ed.D. in Educational Psychology and Instructional Communication (West Virginia University, 2000), an M.A. in Communication Theory and Research (West Virginia University, 1997), and a B.A. in Communication (Slippery Rock University of PA, 1996).

Her academic career includes teaching a diverse range of courses, such as Nonverbal Communication, Communication Media Effects, and Organizational Communication. Her research emphasizes instructional strategies, interpersonal dynamics, and communication in health and sports contexts.
