Kelly Conn

Dr. Kelly Conn is an Associate Professor at the Wegmans School of Pharmacy, St. John Fisher College, within the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration. She directs a Public Health Pharmacy Fellowship in collaboration with the Monroe County Department of Public Health. Her research focuses on public health pharmacy initiatives, medication adherence, health literacy, patient-provider communication, and technology's role in healthcare. She teaches courses in epidemiology, biostatistics, and critical evaluation of medical literature.

Dr. Conn holds a Ph.D. and MPH from the University of Rochester and a B.S. from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Her work bridges pharmacy practice with community health, emphasizing pharmacist roles in public health systems and curriculum development in evidence-based medicine.

Her research spans community-based programs, medication belief systems, and adolescent medication knowledge. She has contributed to projects like asthma intervention evaluations and pharmacist-led antibiotic stewardship programs. Dr. Conn collaborates with interdisciplinary teams on improving healthcare communication, DEI in pharmacy education, and addressing health disparities through pharmacist involvement in local health departments.

Her articles highlight trends in public health pharmacy, pharmacist leadership, and educational innovations. She has mentored students in research projects related to medication adherence and public health interventions. Collaborations include partnerships with the American Public Health Association and American Pharmacists Association.
