Dr. Katherine Juba is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration at St. John Fisher College's Wegmans School of Pharmacy. She specializes in geriatrics, palliative care, and pain management, with a focus on medication safety and pharmacotherapy optimization in vulnerable populations. Dr. Juba holds a Pharm.D. from the University at Buffalo and completed a pharmacy practice residency at University at Buffalo/Niagara Hospice. Her teaching includes palliative care and internal medicine rotations at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Her research emphasizes polypharmacy risks in older adults with cancer, opioid stewardship, and developing assessment tools for student pharmacists.
