Kelly A. Curran, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), specializing in Adolescent Medicine. She serves as Section Chief of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, the primary location for her clinical practice. Dr. Curran holds certifications in Adolescent Medicine, Internal Medicine, and General Pediatrics from the American Board of Medicine. She is actively involved in academic leadership, including roles on the executive committee of the AAP’s Section of Bioethics and as editor-in-chief of its newsletter.
Her academic background includes a Medical Degree from Loyola University Chicago, a Master of Arts in Bioethics and Health Policy from Loyola University Chicago, and a Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
