Dr. Keith Williams is a Reader in English at the University of Dundee's School of Humanities, specializing in modernist literature, cinematicity, and science fiction history. His research focuses on James Joyce, H.G. Wells, and interdisciplinary studies of literature and visual media. He has supervised numerous doctoral projects on topics like Katherine Mansfield, Alan Sharp's transmedial texts, and Robert Duncan Milne's science fiction. Williams co-edited The Essential Robert Duncan Milne (2025) and authored James Joyce and Cinematicity (2020), which explores pre-cinematic influences on Joyce's work. He co-convened Dundee's Science Fiction MLitt program and directed the Centre for Critical and Creative Cultures.
