Keith Reeves is a Professor of Political Science at Swarthmore College. He serves as Faculty Director of the Program on Urban Inequality and Incarceration at the Lang Center for Civic and Social Responsibility, with affiliations to the American Political Science Association, Midwest Political Science Association, and National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

His research focuses on the intersection of race and electoral politics, including racial discrimination in voting, campaign framing, and remedies like race-conscious districting. He also studies poverty, urban inequality, and criminal justice policy through behavioral research methods.
His 1997 book Voting Hopes or Fears? analyzes racial dynamics in electoral politics. Current work explores explanations for high incarceration rates among Black males.

Reeves established Swarthmore's Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program in 2012 and has been featured in media outlets like CNN and WHYY for his expertise on parole reform and mass incarceration.
