Keith Neeves

Keith Neeves, PhD is a Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus School of Medicine. He holds primary appointments in the Department of Bioengineering and the Department of Pediatrics (Section of Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant), and is affiliated with the Hemophilia and Thrombosis Center. His research integrates engineering principles with hematology to investigate blood clotting mechanisms and develop novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for blood disorders.

Dr. Neeves earned his BS from the University of Colorado - Boulder in 2000 and his PhD from Cornell University in 2006. His educational background bridges engineering and biological sciences, forming the foundation for his interdisciplinary research approach.

His research program focuses on hemostasis, thrombosis, hemodynamics, bleeding disorders, stroke, drug delivery, and diagnostics. The Neeves Lab operates under the vision "to use engineering science to discover mechanisms that regulate blood disorders and to exploit those mechanisms to develop new diagnostic and drug delivery technologies." This mission drives innovative work at the intersection of bioengineering and hematology.
