Keith D. Renshaw

Dr. Keith D. Renshaw is a full-time Professor of Psychology at George Mason University's College of Humanities and Social Sciences, with a focus on anxiety, trauma reactions, and interpersonal relationships. As Senior Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education, he leads academic initiatives while maintaining clinical and research expertise in cognitive-behavioral therapy for PTSD, depression, and couples' distress.

His research examines individual and dyadic responses to trauma, particularly among military populations and their families. Key areas include deployment stress, racial trauma, and scalable mental health solutions. Current work focuses on dissemination and implementation science through the Center for Evidence-Based Behavioral Health.

Selected publications reveal consistent themes in military family dynamics, trauma communication, and evidence-based practice implementation. His collaborative work spans multiple institutions and includes both clinical and translational research approaches.

He previously chaired George Mason's Faculty Senate and spearheaded the Military, Veterans, & Families Initiative in 2020.
