Keir A. Lieber is a Professor at Georgetown University, holding dual appointments in the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and the Department of Government. His research focuses on nuclear strategy, deterrence, technology’s role in warfare, and U.S. national security policy. He co-authored The Myth of the Nuclear Revolution and authored War and the Engineers, exploring how political decisions outweigh technological determinism. Lieber’s work appears in International Security, Foreign Affairs, and other leading journals. He has received major fellowships from institutions like the Brookings Institution and the Council on Foreign Relations.
