Keilin Anderson is affiliated with the University of Cambridge Faculty of Law, where she is pursuing a PhD in Law. She holds roles as a Sessional Academic at the Australian National University and the University of Adelaide, lecturing in areas such as public international law, conflict of laws, and international dispute settlement. She also serves as Managing Editor and Conference Convenor of the Cambridge Journal of International Law (2024–).
Her education includes a PhD (ongoing, Cambridge), LLM in International Law (Australian National University), Grad Dip in Legal Practice (ANU), LLB (Honours Class I, University of Queensland), and BA in Political Science (UQ). She is admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland, Australia.
Research interests focus on public international law, state responsibility, international dispute settlement, conflict of laws, and international criminal law. She contributes to the Lauterpacht Centre for International Law (LCIL) at Cambridge. Her work addresses topics like maritime security, legal principles in international criminal proceedings, and the interplay between domestic and international legal frameworks.
Professional achievements include the Hollond-Whittaker Research Studentship, Yuill Scholar distinction, and Academic Excellence Scholarship. She has been recognized for pro bono contributions with the Pro Bono Publico Award. Her career spans roles as Senior Legal Officer at the Australian Office of International Law, Judicial Fellow at the International Court of Justice (2022–2023), and litigation/arbitration practice at Corrs Chambers Westgarth (2020). She also served as a Research Assistant to the Chief Justice of Queensland and multiple faculty members at the TC Beirne School of Law (2013–2017).
Keilin has advised moot teams, notably coaching the University of Queensland Jessup Moot Team to a world championship (2018) and Australian grand final (2020). She has no listed grants but has held multiple research studentships and scholarships. She collaborates with the Kluwer Arbitration Blog as an Assistant Editor (2019–2020) and is part of research networks like the Network of Empirical Labour Law Scholars (NELLS) and the Criminal Jurisprudence and Philosophy Group (CrimJur) at Cambridge.
