Professor Kees Waaldijk serves at Leiden University's Leiden Law School as Professor of Comparative Sexual Orientation Law within the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies. Appointed on May 1, 2011 to a sponsored chair funded through the Betsy Brouwer Fund at the Leiden University Fund (LUF), he specializes in LGBTQ+ legal rights with particular focus on same-sex relationships and international human rights frameworks.
