Kaya Davies Hayon

Kaya Davies Hayon is an Honorary Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Lincoln, UK, and Research and Development Manager at Belong - The Cohesion and Integration Network. Her research focuses on Arab and African cinema with particular expertise in Maghrebi film and stardom studies. She co-edited the 2024 volume Transnational Arab Stardom, analyzing celebrity across geopolitical contexts, and authored the 2018 monograph Sensuous Cinema on bodily representation in North African films. Her work has appeared in journals like Alphaville: Journal of Film and Media and Studies in French Cinema.
