Professor Kay Mohanna is the Founding MBChB Programme Lead and Professor of Values Based Healthcare Education at the University of Worcester's Three Counties Medical School. A practicing general practitioner and trainer, she holds multiple roles including International Development Advisor for the Royal College of General Practitioners for South Asia.
Her qualifications include MBChB, FRCGP, DCH, PGDipMedEd, MA in Medical Ethics, EdD (Doctorate in Education), and recognitions as Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and National Teaching Fellow (2015). Her research examines fairness in assessment, international medical graduate experiences, and conversation analysis in consultations.
Professor Mohanna has developed three Masters in Medical Education programmes and delivers international training in values-based practice and leadership. She co-supervises PhD research applying self-determination theory to medical training in emergency departments.
