Kay Malte Bischof is a Postdoctoral Teaching Scholar and Responsible Innovation Fellow at the University of Notre Dame. His academic journey includes degrees from the University of Tübingen (BA), Yale University (English Literature), King's College London (English Literature), the University of St Andrews (MLitt Philosophy), and the University of Oxford (MSt Theology), culminating in a PhD in Philosophy from Notre Dame (2021). He holds an Azrieli Fellowship at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2025-2028).
His research focuses on Early Modern Philosophy, Metaphysics, and Applied Ethics. His work bridges historical philosophical inquiry with contemporary ethical challenges, particularly in technology and innovation.
Professional roles include postdoctoral teaching and fellowship-driven research. He has engaged with interdisciplinary initiatives through the Responsible Innovation Fellowship and Azrieli Fellowship programs.
