His research focuses on ethics and moral philosophy, particularly as they intersect with narrative theory, Victorian literature, and science fiction. He examines how moral dilemmas and human values are expressed through literary forms and organizational contexts.
Recent publications highlight trends in moral luck, social justice narratives, and the ethics of anger in professional settings, alongside analyses of Victorian and 19th-century literary works. His scholarly interests also extend to religious exemplarism and environmental ethics in historical and speculative fiction.
He serves as a writing instructor, guiding students in critical thinking and communication. For inquiries, contact bbeasle1@nd.edu.
